“The Statue of Liberty” at the Musée d’Orsay in Paris prefigures that of New York. It measures a little less than 3 meters and was presented to the public during the Universal Exhibition of 1900. Its creator, Frédéric Auguste Bartoldi (1834-1904). It is on display at the entrance to the Musée d'Orsay, Paris, France.
