Coming from a visual arts background, my interest in portraiture grew out of drawing with live models — a discipline that taught me the deep observation essential to capturing the true essence of a person, couple or group.
My approach is inspired by the sensitivity of great classical painters and photojournalism masters. Whether in studio or on location, I work in close collaboration with you.
A simple conversation helps us define your expectations, plan the setting and choose the lighting — creating a relaxed, enjoyable and personalized session.

This artistic sensibility is driven by my field experience with major press agencies including Reuters and USA Today Sports Images. This background allows me to produce striking corporate, family and artistic portraits — including unique sportraits that highlight the intensity and characteristics of athletes.
Because technical quality is inseparable from creative vision, I use high-performance professional equipment. Work continues in post-processing with Photoshop and Lightroom, where retouching is done with care and respect for the subject.
The goal is never to transform you, but to present you as naturally and favourably as possible.
