The Alexandre III Bridge, adorned with its 4 large columns and illuminated by its street lamps. The Pont Alexandre III crosses the Seine from the 7th to the 8th arrondissement towards the Petit and Grand Palais. (The Grand Palais is on the left in the photo)
It was inaugurated for the Universal Exhibition in Paris in 1900. The first stone was laid by Tsar Nicholas II of Russia, Empress Alexandra Fedorovna and President Félix Faure on October 7, 1896.
